What did emerge is a strange film, which at times is comedic and at others - like when the sea monster attacks on stage - can be quite horrifying. When Peter Plunketts Irish castle turned hotel is about to be repossesed, he decides to spice up the attraction a bit for the Yanks by having his staff pretend to haunt the castle.
